International Certificate of Competence (ICC) Power up to 10m.

A Theory and Practical course designed to cover the requirements to meet the requirements for issue of an MCA UK ICC (International Certificate of Competence) based on Resolution 40 from the Economic Commission for Europe Inland Transport Committee Working Party on Inland Water Transport.

This is a 2-day in person practical course covering:

• Powerboats upto 10m in length
• Operation in coastal regions – in sight of land
• Driven by outboard or inboard motors
• In fair weather
• No horsepower limitations

Can I rent or charter a powerboat abroad or in the UK with this license?

YES! Subject to the insurance requirements of the charter company, you will more than likely in most cases be able to charter a boat without a skipper with this license.

YES! Check out our Own Boat Tuition and be sure to let us know that you’d like to achieve your ICC when booking. You will need to book a minimum of 2 full days and a maximum of 5  persons can attend subject to your boat size.
