AstroNav UK are the only provider of the IYT Master of Yachts Unlimited course, exam and CoC in the UK (an arguably better alternative to the RYA Yachtmaster Ocean). The IYT/MCA Master of Yachts Unlimited CoC is accepted by the MCA for progression from OOW 300gt to Chief Mate 3000gt (Yachts).
The IYT Master of Yachts 200gt Unlimited Certificate of Competence is an MCA Approved Course, inclusive of the final exam and accepted for progression from MCA STCW Officer of the Watch (OOW) 3000gt (Yachts) to MCA Chief Mate 3000gt (Yachts). The 5 intensive course includes the exam, passage plan and practical sights.
Whilst we specialise in the delivery of AstroNav / Celestial Navigation and Powerboat / Motor Yacht Training, we are also an MCA Approved Training Provider for various courses including MCA STCW Proficiency in Medical First Aid.
