Course Description
The STCW Elementary First Aid course is part of the mandatory Basic Safety Training (BST) for all seafarers.
This course is also accepted by IYT and the RYA for commercial endorsements such as Advanced Powerboat and Yachtmaster Offshore.
This training provides seafarers’ with basic knowledge of the immediate response to give when faced with medical emergencies or accidents whilst at sea.

Pre Requisites
Candidates should be 18 years of age or older. Parts of the course are of a physical nature, and you will be required to complete a medical declaration when attending.
